Integrating Technology in the Classroom
As human beings, we do not always have the answers to a question, problem, or
situation. However, we have the power to use resources and find a solution by being a smart thinker.
Personal Philosophy
The purpose of this module is to learn how to build a web site, so that I may
keep up with changes in technology and improve my teaching abilities. A teacher who is open-minded to professional development
can facilitate the learning of his or her students to prepare for the future. The integration of technology and curriculum
is beneficial to all students to provide them with current information. It is necessary to develop the practice
of incorporating the computer as a teaching tool to prepare our students for a world that embraces technology.
I hope this web site serves as an inspiration to those who think of themselves as a novice with computers. Never put
barriers between yourself and changes and let us continue to be models for our students.
Electronic Portfolio
The navigation bar lists the assignments that were given to me as a graduate student while enrolled in a microcomputer
class. This was a challenging experience for me, as I consider myself to be a novice in computers. I am now taking strides
towards implementing these lessons. As soon as the students were given the opportunity to sit at the computer,
a new spark of interest in learning changed for the better.
